Dog Trainer Remote Collar Workshop

The Dog Training Company instructed a 3-day workshop for other professional dog trainers to learn about the remote collar.

We have been able to help so many dogs and their families thru the methods we learned at the No Limitations School for Remote Training that we wanted to share the information with other trainers. Eight trainers from 3 states joined us for the weekend.

Here, Ron is explaining, step-by-step, how to teach the heel. He also instructed how to teach the other common commands. Molly Rouse, owner of Dog Training Unlimited in NJ, and her dog, Leo, had a very nice heel by the end of the workshop.
Mary Smallwood, owner of Keystone Dog Training in Pa., did a great job teaching our 9 lb dog the "follow-me" command. He is small but he has a big dog attitude. By the second lesson Mary had "Sir Squirts-a-lot" prancing by her side.
Cheryl Ribblett, owner of High Caliber Canine in PA., and her 7 year old deaf Dalmatian, L. B. were practicing the uneven sidewalk. This was L. B.'s first remote collar experience and he did wonderfully.

Jeanne Perciaccanto, owner of Ultimate Dog Training in NJ and a graduate of the No Limitations School for Remote Training, brought with her an out-of-control golden retriever from a rescue group.

Jeanne explained how to begin working with such an out-of-control dog. Jeanne's knowledge of how to read a dog's body language was very helpful and informative.

Having fun on the agility equipment.

Susie Danzis, owner of Training Tails in Pa., and her 4 year old Golden, Bucky, mastered the "A" frame within one day.

While Ves Pamplin, owner of Broken Shadow Dog Training in NJ, and his handsome German Shepherd, Shadow, mastered the dog walk.
Dr. Charles Lerner and his wife Robin, owners of Terrapin K-9 Academy in MD., attended the workshop. They are very knowledgeable in Schutzund training and gave an exciting demo of bite work with their Malinois, Alonzo.
We were also lucky to have Dr. Lerner at the workshop because when our little dog "Squirts" ripped a toe nail, Dr. Lerner was kind enough to patch him up. Thanks Dr. Lerner!!
